We have been told today, that the fully serviced pitches can remain open for Christmas every year!

The fully serviced pitches will now close on the 5th of January and re open on the 1st of March.

Our standard and seasonal pitches remain open all year.

Bookings for Christmas are now being taken via our on line system.

16/10/2020  – Our area remains under a local lockdown, and touring for holiday purposes in a caravan or motorhome for anyone out side the lockdown area is not permitted.  We are truly sorry for any of our guests who’s holidays with us we have to postpone,   We are truly thankful for everyone who has agreed to transfer their deposits to another booking.

If you are from  any of these ward areas (which are in the lockdown area, listed below) then we are open! 
Bigyn, Bynea, Dafen, Elli ward, Felinfoel, Glanymor, Hendy, Hengoed, Llangennech, Lliedi, Llwynhendy, Tyisha or Swiss Valley
Bookings for the next week or so can be made by phone only, we are only accepting bookings from the area within lockdown.   Our facilities however are closed you will need to be self contained, the nightly fee has been reduced, call us for more information.

Following the Welsh Assembly Government announcement on the 25.09.2020, our area is under a local lockdown.  This means that our park is currently closed to everyone out side our local lock down area until a review on the 10th of October 2020.    For all the guests we have had to yet again cancel your Holidays, we are sorry, and we would like to thank all the guests that have transferred their deposits to another date.

AA Covid Confident by Rated Trips
We are delighted to have acheived the AA Covid19 accreditation. This accreditation means that our park has in place the necessary risk assessment, safety measures to reopen safely, in line with the UK’s respective governments’ guidelines as well as those set by trade associations.

We hope you are all well, and staying safe. As promised I have done an update for you, on what we have been up to over the last weeks, and just some of the preparations we are undertaking for when we are able to re-open.

Behind the scenes we are also working hard getting ready to re-open…. but not yet!  Waiting patiently for the work from the Welsh Assembly!

We are looking at ways we can do things with social distancing in mind, so our Welcome pack is now “Virtual” you will receive a password the day before you arrive to have access.

Our feedback form is now done on line also. You will receive this a couple of days after you have left. (Link also below)

We are waiting for guidelines from the Welsh Assembly as to what we can and cant do, along with an opening date.   As soon as we find out, we shall let you know.  Stay safe one and all.

Welcome pack / Pecyn Croeso

Our new Welcome folders have arrived, we are really pleased with how they look.  They have information such as Local shops, Morothome parking places, the local river walk and much more.  Also included is a discount voucher for the National Botanic Garden of Wales, the 2019 Tranquil park booklet and to wash it all down you can use the complimentary Welsh brew tea or Coffee sachets.

 We  would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a wonderful touring year for 2019.

We wont be sending out any cards this year, instead, we will be donating money to a cancer charity, in memory of Rog who drew all our wonderful cartoons, and Christmas cards.

We have been planning a shower block “Re vamp” for a while.  We had plan A,  B,  C and D!  We have now decided to stick with  plan F! which involves keeping the current two showers, but spruce them up. This  work will be done between November the 19th and 20th of December.

We were at a very glamorous event last night, (06/06/2018)  and we were delighted to have been given a silver in the “Caravan camping and glamping site of the year” award.

We are delighted to have been awarded the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence for 2018 – Thank you for leaving a review.  It encourages us to keep improving our small park.

When you dial 01554 820420 between 9.30am and 6pm it will answer your call, and then search for one of the family.

Between 6pm and 9.30am the system will give you options e.g. select 1 for bookings, and you will be able to leave a message, we will call you back as soon as possible

Covid-19 Secure

19/10/2020 – Following todays announcement by the Welsh Assembly, our park will close completely from the 23/10/2020 until the 09/11/2020.

16/10/2020 – The Welsh Assembly has announced today that our local lockdown will last another week – HOWEVER we are open to anyone from the local area that wish to come to stay with us – Call us for further information.

If you are from  any of these ward areas (which are in the lockdown area listed below) then we are open!

26/09.2020 – Unfortunately with new Welsh Assembly Government rules coming into place in our area today at 6pm, It’s with great sadness to let you know that once again we will be closing our tranquil park this evening for anyone out side the area, for an initial 2 weeks.
We will come out on top, and beat this virus once and for all at some point in the near future, Until then, we’d like to thank all our guests for their continued support, thank you to those we had to cancel and re arrange thank you again for agreeing to transfer your deposits, we as a family look forward to welcoming you all again when our doors re-open x

The strategy set by the Welsh Assembly is a cautious road map to ease existing measure in a safe and measured way, subject to successfully controlling the virus and being able to monitor and react to its spread. Our small adults only touring park has a duty and desire to work with, and respect our local community, as we cautiously work towards a new normal.   

Covid – 19  Safety Measures at Llwynifan Farm, South Wales Touring park.

We are pleased to confirm that our park has successfully applied, and been granted the “We’re Good To Go Industry Standard”
This means that we can demonstrate that we are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and checked that we have the required processes in place.

 

We have implemented a number of corona virus safety measures to help protect you and ourselves, but we cannot do this without your cooperation.

We are doing everything we can to be COVID19-secure and are following guidance from the BH&HPA,  and the Welsh Assembly We are incorporating these into our planning as necessary.

We want you all to enjoy your stay at Llwynifan Farm, so please, please, please, follow all on-site guidance closely, and be respectful, considerate, and courteous to each other at all times, PLEASE take note of the advice and guidance in the  Virtual Welcome pack you will receive the day before arrival.   There is a lot of information, but please spend 5 – 10min going through these instructions (If you have not received the password, please let us know)

If you know you have been exposed to the virus, and/or, if you or any member of your party are exhibiting any symptoms of the virus, please do not travel to us. We will happily move your booking to a later date or 2021. Please respect that we have a duty of care to all our guests, local community and cannot risk getting sick ourselves.

You cannot self-isolate at Llwynifan farm.

We request as soon as you arrive that you use the NHS COVID19 app QR code to sign in.  Our unique code can be found on the Information point window. We already keep all your booking details on our system, but using this app is a quicker way of having track and trace.

If for some reason the re opening date above is amended, or due to the virus, you are unable to come to us, we are happy to defer all of your affected holidays and any money paid (including deposits), to another date in 2020 or 2021 year. Our 2021 booking diary is now open click here.  You will not lose your deposits or other money paid.

Finally, if you have any other concerns or questions, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch. This is a very strange time for us all, and we’re all learning to adapt to the new normal.

Covid-19 Safety Measures at
Llwynifan Farm: (Risk assessment)

Please note:

    • The following risk assessment is a “Live document” and is updated on a regular basis.
    • You will receive a link to the detailed risk assessment in your Virtual Welcome pack, on the day before arrival. Below is the shorter “User friendly” version.
    • Across the park, cleaning routines have been stepped up and comply fully with government guidance for cleaning in non-healthcare environments. This will include regular cleaning of all hard-surfaces and touch points such as door handles, taps etc.
    • Additional hand sanitising stations located throughout the park.

Our new arrival procedures

 The password to our Virtual Welcome pack which has information on, arriving at the park, shopping, dog walk, attractions, and other useful information, will be sent to you via email  the day before arrival.  Please keep an eye out for this, and spend 5 – 10min reading through the main page.

 Please pay before arrival, on the same email there is a link to arrange full payment.

 You will be asked to confirm that you don’t have any of the known symptoms of Covid19 , the day before your arrival, there will be a link on the pre arrival email, please complete this, as we need to keep this information for 21 days.

Please, please do not come if there is any chance you may have the virus.

 There are changes to the arrival times, this is to reduce bottlenecks and tailbacks on the driveway. We will discuss this with you, when you book a pitch with us.  Please note we are staggering these, please try and stick to withing 30min of the arrival time given.

Check in

 Our reception area is closed, so check in will be done out side at a 2mtr distance.

 Arrive at park as usual, stop by the information point if you do not know where your pitch is, stay in your vehicle, Hywel or Cathrin will see you and come and show you to your pitch, in a socially distanced manner.

 The NHS App track and trace QR code can be found on the information point window, please use this app to check onto the park.

 If you know your pitch make you way up directly to the pitch, then call us on 01554 820420 /  01554 820333   let us know you’re here.

Reception:

The reception will remain closed to guests, at least initially, and we will bring any items required out to you or leave them in the Information point in clearly marked paper bags.

Only guests that have booked in advance will be allowed on-site.  For track and trace purposes any visitors MUST be registered with us.  Please inform us of your visitors Names, Telephone number, arrival and departure times, we will log this against your booking, they are also required to use the NHS track and trace qr code system that can be found on the information point window.

Information point

Our information point is open, we have placed hand sanitiser in this building please use it.

Book swap, shared parasols, have been taken away for the time being.

The fridge is for any items bought that needs to be kept cold. We sanitise this between uses, please use the hand sanitiser before you open the fridge door and again after you close it.

Please throw away any brochures you pick up, do not replace them.

Wear disposable gloves and a face mask if entering the information point.

We  use a disinfecting “Fogging machine” in the information point on a regular basis.

Shower Block:

Our toilets and shower facilities are open, HOWEVER, we will only allow one person in the ladies, and one in the gents at a time.   WHERE POSSIBLE PLEASE USE YOUR OWN FACILITIES.

The hair dryer, is not to be used, as this would block the entrance to the showers.

Washing machine and Tumble dryer are available, however please wipe any touch points before and after use.  Also please let Hywel or Cathrin know if you have used the tumble dryer, so we can clean out the filters.

Waste & Chemical Disposal:

Sanitising hand gel is provided at the chemical emptying point and bin area – please use them.

There is also a bottle of disinfectant available after you have used the chemical emptying point, please spray it all.

Please tie your waste bin bags shut, and place them in the bins provided. DO NOT put glass of any kind in the green bins, there is a separate bin for glass.  Otherwise we have to take out any glass in the green bins by hand before collection.

Please wear disposable gloves and a face mask when using these facilities. Also remember to wash your hands as soon as possible after using these facilities, guidance on effective hand-washing is provided.

We deep clean these areas daily, and we use a fogging machine to disinfect them on a regular basis.

 Park General:

We request you leave before 12pm, this will give us time to clean the bollard on your pitch.   We use Milton Professional Disinfecting Liquid to spray each bollard before the next guests arrives.

There are hygiene and social distancing signs around the park, please take note of these.

You must leave a minimum of 6m between you and your neighbours when pitching your van. Please take note of the pith layout below.

    • Staying to this layout will mean ample spacing between you and your neighbour.

What you our guests can do

  • Enjoy their caravan/ motorhome  and the area of their pitch and public footpaths/ cycle routes through and around the park.

Walk freely on the park, at all times observing social distance from other park users and Llwynifan Farm Family members.

Bring soap, hand gel, gloves, toilet roll, disinfectant, hand sanitiser – just to be on the safe side.

Our  local supplier fishmonger, milkman, fruit and veg delivery and BBQ/ breakfast packs all come to the park. (information is in our Virtual Welcome pack)

Please, at all times, show consideration and respect for our local community and observe social distancing.
